About Us:
For over 27 years, S.A.Y. Plastics Inc. has been dedicated to providing quality plastic products to a variety of industries, including HVAC, automotive, plumbing, and pet products. Although our focus is custom injection molding our services include post processing, assembly line production, distribution services, along with facilitating new mold creation and modifications. In recent years, we have implemented more automation combining the use of robotics and vision inspection equipment as well as attempting to be more enviormentally friendly.
Equipment and Facilities:
S.A.Y. Plastics Inc. has more than 220,000 square feet of manufacturing and warehouse space. Production currently consists of 41 injection molding machines. This machine list consists of a wide range of equipment from 75 Ton to 2000 Ton. We are in the middle of adding the next round of 6 new machines with robots, additing 3 70' 5 Ton Bridge cranes to facilitate more effecient mold changes, and adding 2 new cooling towers to accommodate the added capacity. We also own additional adjacent acreage for future growth in which we have built and opened a 10,000 square feet distribution building for LTC and drop shipping purposes. Materials Processed:
We currently process engineering resins such as PPS, Nylon, Polycarbonate, PVC, and ABS. Commodity resins including polypropylene, polystyrene, and polyethylene are used as well. Mineral and glass filled as well as flame retardant materials are included in the above listings.
Secondary Operations:
We currently provide a wide range of assembly and post processing, special packaging, hot stamping, image transfer, solvent welding, and secondary machining. Additional processes such as sonic welding and painting can be added if necessary for new products.
Open Capacity:
Due to our constant focus on expansion and growth, we have current open capacity on all tonnages. It is our goal to never be above the 80% capacity and we add equipment as needed to attain that goal.
Employees/Shifts:
S.A.Y. Plastics, Inc. averages 150 employees and looking to add great employees all the time. Three shifts run 24 hours a day from Monday through Friday, and occassionally on the weekends seasonally and when necessary. For employment opportunities, click here.
